The Mediterranean view
The southernmost part of Calabria is a veritable watershed between the two Mediterranean souls: the Tyrrhenian to the east with the beaches of the Costa Viola, and the Ionian Sea, with the beaches of the Riviera dei Gelsomini overlooked by Riace Marina, Roccella Ionica, and Marina di Gioiosa Ionica. The southern Calabrian sea offers unique locations in the world for lovers of sailing sports, kitesurfing, and snowboarding.
