Dragons, Dolphins, and Seahorses in the Kaulonia Sea

Share

This year’s appointment with the sea monsters of the ancient Kaulonia returns. From August 3rd to August 16th the famous floor mosaic of the Bathos of Nannon, discovered by the archaeologist Francesco Cuteri, depicting dragons, dolphins, and seahorses, will be open again to the public.

The extraordinary reopening is due to the synergetic collaboration between the Museum Centre of Calabria curated by Antonella Cucciniello, the Archaeological Museum of Antica Kaulon curated by Rossella Agostino, the maritime construction company Falcomar with Ignazio Aquilino, the Lions Club Monasterace-Kaulon and the Cooperative ViviKaulon, which offers additional museum services.
