Paleariza Festival

The Paleariza Festival was founded in 1997 by the will of the GAL Area Grecanica. Today it represents one of the most important ethnic and popular music events. An ethno-cultural review aimed at rediscovering the traditions of the territory and the beauties of the Greek Calabria among the historic villages of the Greek area such as Bova, Palizzi. San Lorenzo, Roccaforte, Bagaladi. Paleariza comes from the Greek and means "ancient root". It will therefore be a rediscovery of the past that still continues to live in the traces of our present.
